CG.CreativeFan Official Launch


Greetings everyone! I’m very proud to announce the launch of CG.CreativeFan, a tutorial website aimed at inspiring, educating and helping aspiring and established computer graphics professionals, digital artists and enthusiasts.

We’ll publish frequent tutorials on modeling, texturing, rendering and animation in a variety of 3D software packages. Whether you like Maya, 3D Studio Max, Blender, Cinema4D, Modo, ZBrush, Vue, Terragen or even ones not listed here, we’ll work hard to ensure that all your learning needs are met. Over the future weeks, we’re looking to publish tutorials on architecture visualization and creation, sci-fi element creation, realistic object creation, digital painting (including matte painting), character creation, animation, terrain modeling and generation, fundamentals of composition, and much more.

If you’re a blogger, we also have a community link feed that you can submit your articles to, located on the sidebar. If you’re an author or you want to contribute to the site, please check out our Write For Us page. Lastly, if you’re an advertiser, please consider supporting creativity and promoting your brand to our excellent audience, and check out our available advertisement spots.

We recognize that we’re a new and growing network. Therefore, we need your input on pretty much everything in order to know how to best meet your individual needs. Although we rigorously tested the site before launch, we recognize that new sites occasionally have functionality issues. Create a Fantastic Environmental Awareness Composition


In the ongoing environmental disaster caused by the British Petroleum oil spill, one of the largest areas of promotional artwork and awareness has been for the environment and for the eco-friendly movement.  Although it has been an ongoing trend for years, the recent oil spill has led to a resurgence in concerns over oil drilling across the world.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a fantastic environmental awareness composition that fits a specific theme, namely the BP oil spill.  You’ll learn how to develop a plan of attack for the image, and then combine various stocks to create an environment, then populate it with various sea creatures, then finally you’ll learn how to create the illusion of an oil spill using stock images and painting techniques.
